Val
CEO/ Cofounder For the past dozen years as an executive, Val led several Cloud storage (CDMI/S3) and data management (NetApp Multi-Cloud Data Fabric) innovations across the industry as Cloud CTO of NetApp. After a brief stint as CTO at Cloud-Native storage startup SolidFire, Val rejoined NetApp as CTO of both companies, post-acquisition in 2015, where he also helped open-source Google’s Kubernetes Cloud-Native technology as a founding governing board member of the Linux Foundation’s CNCF.
Kumar
CTO/Cofounder Kumar delivered the Big Data industry’s first trillion-object production solution at NetApp, then went on to lead IoT/Edge computing innovations at Jasper (acquired by Cisco). At Cisco, he was an Architect specializing in distributed systems and real-time streaming data pipelines. Kumar later applied his market-leading skills to the backbone of the modern internet, Ad-Tech, by building and leading the team which rearchitected the core technology of Marin Software.
